[Scan-DC] Data base question for the bcd436HP.

Greetings,

 

I had a few  questions regarding the 436HP.

 

I did programing using the zip code entry method.  When I entered the zip
code and pressed the knob it asked do I want the complete data base or (I
forget the second question).  What  is the difference between the complete
data base and the other choice for data base loading?  Also, is there a way
of going back from the complete data base to the second option?  It seems
that the complete data base loads all of MD and than some.

 

Am I able to use non chargeable batteries with the unit?

 

When I plug in the unit to wall outlet power it does not let me use the unit
but treats it as a USB storage device.  Can I use the scanner on wall power,
and if so, how do I do that?  Thanks in advance for any assistance.
