Thanks a lot Dave for making me feel old!  Only been retired just over three
years, and can't remember now  ;)

I want to say that it is the abbreviation for the unit that controls all
detectives since they were removed from the district level, but I'm still
scratching my head.  If you don't have the answer by the time it comes to
me, I'll let you know.

Anyone know what "OSD" is within Metropolitan Police? I looked at some
organizational charts, and it looks like it may be "Operations Support
Division," but I'm not sure.

Just trying to eliminate some of the acronyms on the RadioReference page.
