[Scan-DC] Congressional Retreat

Both of the two major parties' congressional delegations go on retreats in January or soon thereafter. They used to charter entire trains. I recall seeing the Democrats come back from the Greenbrier in West Virginia via a special train some years back. The events are usually not publicized, both because of negative publicity, and now, security as well.

The Republicans will be in Cambridge, MD, next week.

I don't know where and when the Democrats are going on their retreat. Maybe it's already over.
