About 5:10 p.m. Wednesday evening, someone's motorcade went east on Pennsylvania Avenue behind the National Archives. At the front were nine HDs with sidecars.

This morning at 8:20, I saw a pair of bikes, probably HDs, at the American Airlines terminal next to the National Airport Metro stop. From all the flags on the bikes, I think they were there to accompany a returning casualty from Afghanistan. There might be some CB or FRS radio traffic involved with that.
