Unclear so far is how D.C. Fire/EMS will accommodate mutual aid response.  One source suggests that mutual aid responders can stop at a D.C. firehouse, a battalion chief or the D.C. radio cache and borrow a radio for the duration of an incident.  Hard to believe that is a viable solution for interoperability after so much discussion about the Navy Yard.

I agree with Kurt.. mayoral candidates embrace the idea of openness and transparency.... until they become mayor!  Just like with Obama.
