[Scan-DC] Xtals

What's the IF of the radio? 10.7 MHz or 10.8 MHz? Someone might already have asked; I haven't read the replies.

I keep wishing that I'll go to a yard sale and find a shoebox full of crystals. I've been wishing this for 20 or 25 years.

Do crystals go bad, as in going off-frequency?  Anybody have any idea of someplace where I could get a crystal (remember them) for a scanner?  The scanner in question is an old Sonar VHF High Band, model FR-105.  It uses the same crystals as another popular one that was made by Unimetrics and sold by Lafayette.

(I'm sure this takes many of you back to the Dark Ages, or at least the Tube Ages!)

I wouldn't mind trying to put this radio back in service...

Thanks.
