A little off topic, but check this out.
This is a picture that I snapped of a TV Station from Cuba that I managed to pickup from the Wheaton area back in the summer of 1983.

I came across it on TV channel 3 one afternoon after switching my Atari 800 computer off and switching the TV back over to antenna. This signal last over an hour and I had 2 friends verify it on their TVs in Rockville and Gaithersburg.

As a side comment that plane was ineffective and costly plus Castro had the audacity to jam the tv signal. That plan was superseded by using a tethered blimp near Key West, Florida. On a trip to Key West in 1997 I saw the blimp and it did work except for one teeny tiny problem. Surprise surprise!. Castro jammed that TV signal too but that didn't dissuade the US broadcasting attempts. Also when in Key West I drove by an isolated compound housing area that did not fit with the surrounding neighborhood. A local told me it was a refugee processing center for Cubans. As you know any Cuban who can physically make it to the US shore is 99% guaranteed a US citizenship and benefits, i.e., housing, welfare, etc. That's one reason the US is a magnet for those who continue to try to cross from Cuba.
