And before Patch gets everyone confused, this site is not one of  the pair
of NIKE sites in the city of Gaithersburg, which are also in or approaching
the surplus process. For that pair, the control site is the former CPSC
site, now in transition  to a city park.  The launch site is next to the
Muddy Branch Giant shopping center and still belongs to the federal
government.

Body in the pond at Nike Missile Park, 8501 Snouffer School Road... fire
operations on 7-Golf.  Various boats en route, response reduced to routine.

This park used to be the control point for a Nike missile site - missile
silos are on the other side of Snouffer School, back in the woods behind the
Army Reserve place and up the street a little.  (I would _not_ advise
fooling around back there...)
