[Scan-DC] Going to national mall today.

I am not sure, anyone have any intel on this? I carry a 2 way Baofeng in my
go bag I take to work everyday at Belvoir, Nobody has ever checked or
searched it, I see soldiers with backpacks at work as well. I would think
that the fourth of July being a high profile event the security may ask you
if you are a ham op, and if not might inquire as to who you might want to
listen to other than the CBS, CNN, NBC ABC and all the other commercial
folks down on the mall. Just my observation, good luck
