I guess Sprint is hoping folks will move over to their CDMA push to talk
phones as the iden is going to be turned off. I went to a sprint store a
week ago and according to them CDMA is going to increase the coverage that
iden didn't do well but only time will tell.

connect.

Greetings,

I am considering getting two Nextel phones to stay in touch with a friend
and I. I remember a few years back when many more folks had Nextel making
the direct connect feature very handy. I'm trying to get a gage on who
still uses it to see if it is still worth getting. Is the use of direct
connect fairly dead compared to a few years back? I'd like to get folks
thoughts. Thanks in advance for any help.

John
