One RI State Trooper running the race said to AP that there were a lot of
leg amputations and injuries, indicating the devices were located low
toward the ground, not around the chest or in backpacks on backs. The
devices appear to be substantial given the severity of injuries.

Heard on the scanner that abuse were being used to move the crowds. Hope
they search backpacks before folks are allowed to board buses. Hope they
also evacuated the entire subway system, not just the area close to Copley .
