[Scan-DC] chooper 7

P25 has always been terrible for Air-to-Ground comms. 
When I lived in L.A., I noticed that LAPD helicopter would switch over to analog when they were involved in pursuits in areas that had terrible repeater coverage.

Montcamera county has something going on with MSP trooper 7, but blast if I can understand a word the helicopter is saying... police dispatcher is having trouble also... I noticed this with another MSP helicopter a couple of weeks ago... there's some kind of search going on.... now one of the county cars advises more equipment coming for a search for a suicidal subject... somewhere in the Silver Spring district.

Point of the original post is that the helicopter radios seem to be terrible.  Search is on the main Silver Spring dispatch channel, by the way.
