[Scan-DC] off topic - small helo on trailer on I-270

Off topic, but I know there are some aviation buffs here... I was on I-270 southbound at I-370 (Gaithersburg/ Rockville); spotted an older model ('99 & back) red Suburban with Florida tags pulling a car trailer.  On the trailer was a small experimental helicopter... I'm having trouble downloading the pictures right now.  I grabbed for the iPhone but didn't get pix that were too good... was a bit paranoid about doing that while driving in the first place, esp with the crosswinds - I missed the tail number of the thing... thought it was something like N561N or N561KN, but those don't come back to a helicopter.  I thought there was a way to search the FAA N numbers using a wildcard, but now I can't figure out how to do that.  If anyone happens to spot this rig, I'd be curious to know the tail number of the helo.  Thanks,
