Was it the words that were new, or the way they were combined?
I put in an underdash CB once to drive up past Hagerstown on I-270. Wow. I turned it off after not too long. Not my cup of tea. It could be so useful.

I used to rely on CB radio when I was on the highway to warn about upcoming traffic jams, or to find out what the cause of a traffic jam is that I'm sitting in. ... (I also learned quite a few new words listening to the truckers, but that's another story.)
