[Scan-DC] Fairfax Public Safety

The control channel is very static filled. There's a tower here in
Merrifield behind the Fairfax Public Access building. I used to be able to
get Fairfax without the antenna even being on the scanner, and I live in a
basement. I wonder with the buildings for the "Mosaic District" that have
sprouted up around the tower, if either Fairfax has abandoned use of that
tower, or if all the buildings are now blocking the signal.

Let me add that I live in Merrifield, so I shouldn't be having these kinds
of problems. I reimported the system twice into my scanner.

I just updated my scanner with Fairfax Public Safety, and I am not receiving
anything from Fairfax. I also put the "County Services" in another bank, and
I get some very scratchy transmissions, but still no public safety. I
imported the data from Radio Reference.

 

By the way, I got STARS to work.
