So I guess you've NEVER driven through a red light... not necessarily
intentionally, but maybe that yellow seemed to be shorter than the norm
(and yes, a certain jurisdiction was "caught" shortening their yellow cycle
after installing a red light camera). I also guess that you've NEVER
driven over the speed limit, not even when you didn't really know what it
was or that you were in a school zone. Not really intending to sound
harsh, but think about it, these cameras only catch the "normal" driver
once, the second time is your fault. Also going back to my experience with
DC, when is the last time that YOU saw a motorist doing 50 on I-295 south
of Pennsylvania Ave, or doing 45 on the SE/SW Freeway? Forget about DC,
how many cars do you see doing 55 on the beltway when there are no marked
cruisers around? But then again, how often are you REALLY in the DC/MD/VA
area?
