A15 is the old A7 go to tac channel to take an incident from the main dispatch group to an alternate for an extended operation so as not to tie up the main channel. This channel is encrypted, so once they switch - u won't hear a thing.

I'd like to know also. After they switched from the Rockville
dispatch TG, I set my scanner to Wildcard for the Montgomery trunked
system and did not hear any comms from that incident on any TG.
I had another unit scanning the 800 MHz conventional channels but did
not hear anything relevant.
Possibly it's a low power TG like the vehicle repeater TGs used by
the fire department. But if so, ECC would not need to do anything to
set it up. But yesterday the dispatcher indicated that ECC was doing
some preparation before switching the incident to A15.

RadioReference indicates that it should >be 6160, Local Government
Emergency 1, but I never heard anything on that one... thanks-
