They have communication problems on Barrack R (Golden Ring)
on 39.44 (old Balco PD freq!). Of course, dispatch works
better when they speak into the mike. Audio is way low
most of the time. I run my scanner into a compressor so
i can crank up the volume to hear dispatch and not get
blasted by the cars. State highways on 47.400 is LOUD
in comparison. Barrack G (Westminster) is a simulcast
from Carroll County's analog 800 system. (39.52) My
PSR-800 should arrive tomorrow, then I get to check
out F.I.R.S.T. this weekend.
