[Scan-DC] CAP?

Saturday, 10:30 a.m., maybe, I was in the middle of Alexandria. I looked up to see what I thought was a VC-25 headed west, followed by a second one. I moved to get a better view, and I saw in front of those two yet another plane that had the VC-25 look. I thought there were only two based at Andrews. I didn't have my binoculars with me, so don't quote me. I didn't that any of them was a C-17, though I saw some of them active earlier that morning. They all looked like four-engine aircraft on a flight path headed west from KADW.

Seems as if I've heard a lot more jet noise than usual here in Gaitherflats today... does anyone know if the Combat Air Patrol up and doing something out of the ordinary?  Or am I just off-base... I keep looking up and never see anything!
