[Scan-DC] Montgomery County rebanding and the HP1

Mike:
It is far simpler to use Sentinal or ARC Patrol to edit the current favorite list, since the TGs are not changing, and drop the 4 control frequencies by 15 MHz to match the ones on RR. Then set the custom table to the standard rebanded table. (see my email yesterday). You do not have to enter all of the frequencies, just the 4 control channels. (you can even add them to the existing four until all the work is finished).
If you have the extended version firmware, you can actually do this on the radio itself. It took about 10 minutes to do this yesterday, and except for the hanging TG problem, everything works fine.

I just saw a question about this on RR, and thought I might echo the
answer here...The RRDB has been updated as of today with what we know so
far for the rebanded frequencies. Here's the link

You will notice that there's a mix of rebanded and original freqs there.
Evidently not everything has moved yet; just keep in mind that, assuming
they utilize all the original frequencies and not add anything new, they
would be reduced by 15 Mhz.
As for HP1 users, you can either wait for the next database refresh (is
that Monday morning?) or do the rebanding yourself manually. This
article from the wiki (the procedure was developed by someone else, not
me) that tells you how to do it is here...
