[Scan-DC] mounting a radio

I recently got a 2006 Honda Civic Hybrid to replace the old Toyota which
was beginning to fall apart (after 195000 miles I'm not complaining),
however this leaves me a problem - I have a Icom IC-207 dual bander
(2m//440) with the remote head and antenna that needs to go into the
car. I also have a trunk mount that was used by my Austin Spectra for
the scanner (a 396). I rescued all the hardware except the alternator
whine filter, so I have the control and battery cable (in fact, I have
somewhere in my junkbox a replacement battery cable...), mounting
bracket and all the screws (I think...)
That's something that's way the heck out of my league (like Dirty Harry
once said, 'A man's got to know his limitations', hi), so I'm looking
for some recommendations from folks that have had such work done on
their Civics. I'm also looking for ideas as to where to mount -
fortunately the remote head is quite small. Unlike the Camry, there's no
passthru between the trunk and the passenger compartment.
If you prefer, you can email me direct at ka3jjz1 (at) verizon (dot) net
TIA...Mike
