Good morning!
I have lost the Fairfax Fire dispatch channel on every radio and scanner I have. I still get the remaining channels as well as the police. I understand it's a function of an upgrade to a faster program. Monitoring this jurisdiction is critical to what I do. I have 3 - Pro 96 portables, a Uniden BCD396T and 2 Motorola Astros in my vehicle. 
Is there anyone who would be willing to look at my set up, upgrade it and / or recommend new software or equipment??
I live in Fairfax but could meet anywhere.

Many scanners will track it, but not all, and not as well as the slower 
control channel.  This is the same problem you were having with Arlington 
County. 
 
As for the Motorola radios, I'll have to check.  This may be a challenge 
since they are older radios.  If they can be upgraded, it will require 
firmware updates and the radio might be forced to identify itself to the 
system.
