The owner's manual for most all of the Uniden DMA scanners has been, for 
the most part, soundly criticized for being a poor read (and I agree - I 
have the 396T).

However the Easier to Read manuals are the exact opposite - They've been 
widely praised as being more readable, and some of them are available in 
printed form from Scanner Master...

In addition, the DMA FAQ on the RR Wiki covers topics that aren't dealt 
with in great detail in either manual, such as Location Based Scanning...
