Morning DK and all,

Since I have been on several Uniden Alpha and Beta test teams, I've learned
a bit about where their stuff is at.

Go to
http://www.uniden.com/bin/venda?ex=co_disp-view&bsref=uniden&scat=scanners_mnl
and all the Uniden manuals are there. The 996XT is at the very bottom of the
page.

I'll put a link for future reference in my Monitor Post Reference Library
Section on my Btown Monitor Post blog (http://monitor-post.blogspot.com/)

73 and good hunting

Subject: [Scan-DC] Need pdf owners manual for Uniden BCD996XT

I need a manual in _pdf format_ for the Uniden BCD996XT - have looked on
Uniden's site and what they have is a series of web pages that are all
linked together. Much of it is generic and I'm finding it very poorly
arranged and extremely awkward to use.

I suspect that there may not be a pdf-format manual for this radio (internet
searches have not turned up one), but thought I'd post something here just
in case the early ones may have had that instead of this web-based mess.

While thinking about this, it occurred to me to look for a pdf-format for
the earlier model (BCD996T) - I did find that and have just downloaded it...
that may get me where I need to go, but I'd still like to find one for the
XT if anyone happens to have it.

Thanks in advance, as they say!

DK
