CB is still used, but the drivers also have cell phones and satellite radio
competing for their attention. It used to be you could just listen (and
scanners/ham radios are great for that) - now I often have to ask for
information, so I bring a CB along with the scanner on trips.

I find it still very heavily used by the truckers on the 95 corridor... at
least going south.
