[Scan-DC] Consolidated Dispatch

Hey Matt,

It was about 6 months ago they started it. It goes into affect at 0400 and runs til 0800. They put 1d and 2d together, 3d and 4d together, and 5d and 6d together.  For the most part it works pretty well, unless they get a barricade or ERT call out and they need another channel. But since everyone on the police side is both a call taker and a dispatcher, they can easily add an additional channel if they need to.

Hi all,

How long has Montgomery County been doing the consolidated dispatch? Every morning at 0800 they sound the alert tones and annouce consolidated dispatch has ended. On channel 1 it sounds like they are dispatching Bethesday and Rockville together.
