At 1700 hours, the time at which Montgomery County was scheduled to switch to re-banded frequencies, Montgomery Fire announced that units should switch to the re-banded (non-starred) talk-groups. So far, on my unmodified Pro-96, I seem to be hearing everything as I should. I'm hearing occasional digital break-up, but when I do the dispatcher (or hospital) also seems to be hearing it.

Here's what I'm scanning, and I've been scanning these for a LONG time:

MontgomeryCo 868.93750 MOT 0.0 D
MontgomeryCo 868.88750 MOT 0.0 D
MontgomeryCo 868.86250 MOT 0.0 D
MontgomeryCo 868.68750 MOT 0.0 D
MontgomeryCo 866.21250 MOT 0.0 D
MontgomeryCo 866.27500 MOT 0.0 D
MontgomeryCo 866.33750 MOT 0.0 D
MontgomeryCo 866.48750 MOT 0.0 D
MontgomeryCo 866.65000 MOT 0.0 D
MontgomeryCo 867.83750 MOT 0.0 D
MontgomeryCo 867.88750 MOT 0.0 D
MontgomeryCo 867.91250 MOT 0.0 D
MontgomeryCo 868.11250 MOT 0.0 D
MontgomeryCo 868.16250 MOT 0.0 D
MontgomeryCo 868.27500 MOT 0.0 D
MontgomeryCo 868.36250 MOT 0.0 D
MontgomeryCo 868.38750 MOT 0.0 D
MontgomeryCo 868.43750 MOT 0.0 D
MontgomeryCo 868.61250 MOT 0.0 D
MontgomeryCo 868.63750 MOT 0.0 D

I'll be interested to hear the experiences of others.
