Does ICOM make a 76 volt radio or are they using some type of external power
supply? I don't think an ICOM will hold up in an engine like a Motorola.

Now that I reread this perhaps it is only handhelds that have been replaced
with Icoms??

BTW, Amtrak recently finished replacing their Motorola radios with Icom
unit. From everyone I have heard from - they hate it.
