The frequencies are still being used for traffic, it's just a new control
channel, 856.1875
Add that and you will be fine.

This is strange. If I change my Pro-96 from "scan" to "manual," and toggle
through the channels I can hear transmissions, loud and clear, on several of
them. (Not talk groups...directly on the 800 mHz channels). Scanning,
however, I get nothing. Something has changed, but I don't know what.
