[Scan-DC] "Firebuffs" frequency -- 452.975 MHz?

This was a frequency that many years ago was called DC Notification
or something close. Used by buffs to learn of fire incidents and and
report from the location of same. Vito was either the owner or a large
part of it. It was still active in the 80's but I don't know if still
active. You are right the same frequency was also used with a different PL.
The only NECW I am aware of is New England Citywide at this link
http://newenglandcitywide.com/meminfo.html This radio buff group is
affiliated with 1RWN if you are aware of that group which is part of 1st
responder News. NECW I believe was started by members of the long time
Hartford Citywide radio system that at one time had repeaters in many
parts of CT.
