The terms EMT-P and "Paramedic" are interchangeable and synonymous. A medic
on a help has the same scope of practice and training as a medic on an FD
rig. Some might have Advanced Cardiac Life Support training but this is by
no means exclusive to flight medics

However many air ambulance services employ actual nurses for more advanced
in flight care as a nurse has a greater scope of practice than a medic.
