Car has to be towed... whoever is working the camera is watching also, zooming in and out. Cute.
By the way, there is a "courtesy patrol"* that works the ICC, they have (at least) 2 F*rd "vehicle recovery units" (tow trucks!), their call signs are 860 and 861, those numbers are displayed prominently on the trucks (unknown what the significance of the #s is...) 860 is towing the broken Honda, driver being transported to Holy Cross for a checkup.
The ICC cops (correction! Maryland Transportation Authority Police) talk consistently in 10-code; they use the APCO one that I'm not that familiar with, so I'm looking up stuff all the time! The ones that patrol the ICC have call signs such as I-4, I-5, I-7, etc. I think those are the numbers of the actual cars (most are Crown Vics, but there's at least one Charger); when they come on duty they give a bunch of 10-codes and other numbers that I think must be their badge numbers or ID numbers or whatever.
Nothing new here, of course, I'm just bored and thought someone would be interested!
*as opposed to a "speed patrol"... for those who aren't familiar, the speed limit on the connector is 55 and the cops are fierce... contact me privately for an onslaught of how ridiculous this is on a road that you gotta pay to use! :)

> Car struck a deer on the ICC in Montgomery County near New Hampshire Avenue... no biggie but it's sortof neat that it can be seen on the webcam... looks like a car up against the guard rail and a bunch of emergency lights.
