[Scan-DC] DC Overtuned Vehicle Dispatch

I go wherever they need. The big difference is when I hit duty hours I usually have to do a live shot for another crew (ex: Delia & Felix last night at the Capitol) or I get assigned a reporter and we work a story.
All my best spot news happens either when I am heading to and from work, or on my day off. Then I can chase news without being bothered by the desk.
Also by doing this I make precious overtime, and I am allowed certain benefits other shooters don't get, like driving a 5 ton Suburban at 8mpg at will.
Just dropped $131.77 in the tank. That happens at least every other day, if not sooner.

Hey Kurt, are you assigned to a particular geographic area, or do you go wherever the news is?
(I've been wondering about this business of the WSSC employee who has been missing since Friday at the Triadelphia Reservoir...)
