I agree. That's why I try to emphasize initial dispatch vrs 1st unit sizeup when reporting. 

I'm just a bit bored at the moment.

I'm often amused at the difference between the 911 call/dispatch report,
and what they actually find on scene:

Dispatch: "Respond to an overturned truck that's burst into flames and
is leaking acid, with possibly four people entrapped and one ejected"

On-scene report: "A GMC Pacer with a flat tire. Place all units in
service."
