Great Coverage Doug and thanks for posting this. I listened to this for a really long time yesterday and didn't have alot of the details.
Some interesting additions to this were that on the Mont Co Fire Rescue side they didn't have the ability to do night operations. So they pulled them off the ater after it got dark and sent Howard County Fire Rescue down there.
So then it was them and Montgomery County Police and Montgomery and Howard County Mounted Park Police searching the area. They were pinging the WSSC employees cell phone but that only got them to the closest cell tower.
The WSSC Employee was reported to be a WSSC Police Officer (which I didn't know they had) and his boat had a 6 point Buck (deer) in it because he had been monitoring a managed deer hunt that was occuring in the area. It sounded like they had not ruled out foul play when they cut it off last night. It will be interesting to see what they come up with today.
Joe

By now most of you are probably aware that an empty boat washed ashore at the Triadelphia Reservoir in MD yesterday and that an employee of the Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission (bi-county water & sewer authority) is missing. A recovery operation is underway in that area, operations are on Montgomery County talkgroup 7-Golf. There may also be some activity on one of the police tac talkgroups, I'll see if I can figure that one out. Apparently yesterday evening the units were calling off the search for the day when an article of the victim's clothing was discovered.
