Or Earthquake alerts in Washington? Don't mock it, strange things do happen
to create situations we'd never imagine outside tv or movie plots.

Remember that a number of years before the 9/11 attacks, Tom Clancy wrote
about what happened when a terrorist hijacked an airliner, which he then
crashed into the Capitol to annihilate a joint session of Congress.

I'm not imagining a Tsunami in Kansas as a likely event, but I've learned
it's probably best to not let myself be easily surprised either by the
unpredictability of nature or the capability of man to do strange things to
his habitat.
