I few minutes ago Montgomery relocated the Command Post to KinderCare
located at 18000 Sioux Lane, Gaithersburg, MD. Not sure exactly on what's going
on.
In a message dated 11/6/2011 8:37:36 P.M. Eastern Standard Time,
oldsdoug at hotmail.com writes:
OK, the Gaithersburg thing seems to be a search of storm drains in the
Clopper and Longdraft area and I'm hearing fire comms for that on 7-Hotel...

"disregard the McDonald's run", probably related to whatever is going on as
below... the Metro thing is definitely on Charlie... scanning now to see if I
can pick up anything on other fire channels, but the MCP Gaithersburg
talkgroup might be the one to monitor for whatever's going on over there. It's
not far away and I'd take a ride over there but am waiting for a return
phone call, and would probably learn more by staying home and listening to the
"radio array" anyhow!

Canteen 708 dispatched to, I think, Clopper Road and Longdraft Road
(Gaithersburg), but I didn't catch the nature of the call... possible rescue, I
thought he said... maybe some kind of search in the state park near there?

be the same as the Metro incident (person struck by train) in Bethesda...
if the dispatcher didn't make an error that's very odd (2 separate incidents
on same talkgroup).
