I saw two troopers running code NB 395 about 8:30.

Was taking a friend home to Falls Church and noticed 4 separate unmarked
units heading West on I-66 running code. They were all a few miles apart
from one another, inspired me to turn on the scanner app on my iPhone and
play it through my radio.

Appears as though an off-duty MPD officer who lives in Centreville on Mary
Todd Lane (next street over from my house) had a domestic dispute with his
wife, and was threatening to kill himself with his service weapon. Left in
a 2005 Dodge Caravan (light blue) heading towards DC via I-66. Name given
was Ryan Devine, FCPD called MPD to advise them and they apparently don't
recognize the name as one of theirs. On my way into my subdivision passed
no less than four FCPD cruisers patrolling the neighborhood, two of which
were sitting outside the house presumably occupied by the MPD officer's
wife.

Not sure if the previously mentioned unmarked units had anything to do with
this particular incident, or something else entirely.

Also FCPD was called to respond to a trespasser at a convenience store in
Fairfax off of Chain Bridge Road. Apparently an angry customer who refused
to leave because the clerk wouldn't sell alcohol to him on account of being
visibly drunk.
