As a follow-up to the wquestion below you may be referring to the ambulance 'busses' that are used to transport wounded soldiers from Andrews to Walther Reed iin DC. Although I don't know the flight arrival times at Andrews I often see these busses coming south on Rt 29 in Silver Spring from the beltway between 4-5:000pm. They turn south on Georgia Ave to Water Reed. Even with lights and sirens they make good time traveling the beltway at rush hour. I once saw 3 of these units coming through Laurel with lights and sirens on possibly enroute to Walter Reed from BWI.
