Wow. We had been out to dinner later than usual, had pizza, and I forgot to take my antacid stuff, so was having trouble getting to sleep. Got up and flipped on the radio just as this was going out, and somehow I missed the report from whatever unit got to the scene first. They must have had one Priority 4 then, because I only heard transport info on 3 victims, the two below and a third P2 who eventually went to Suburban trauma after a miscue between the hospitals and the EMS units. (Sounded like there was ETOH involved in this one.) I know right where it happened, used to go through there at least twice a week until the ICC opened, it's a bad spot on a dark unlit curve in a heavily wooded area with several large trees close to the road. There've been many, many wrecks there over the years and several fatals. Fifth victim must have been a guy who ran after the accident, they had 2 dogs looking for him and spotted him at one point and apparently knew where he lived also (from a tag check? may have been the driver?). I never heard that they picked him up, but it sounds as if they must have.
