[Scan-DC] FCC launches its first website redesign in 10 years

The update seems a bit superficial. Although the home page has a snazzy
new look, if you click through to the actual content, a lot of it just
goes straight to the corresponding page on the old site. The ULS
interface, for example, is exactly the same as before, so searching for
frequencies is no better or worse that before. The new spectrum view
links take you to the existing reboot.fcc.gov site, with the Spectrum
Dashboard, which provides some frequency data, plus some whitewashed
information about spectrum use.

I'm sure there will be further improvements over time, so kudos to the
FCC for the efforts. I know that major modifications to Web sites are a
big undertaking.

Andy

The Federal Communications Commission is redoing its website for the
first time in ten years.
The FCC is adding new tools and changing the look, including interactive
menus.

Compare the new site with the old one.

I haven't gone for a test drive yet. I recall that Gullfoss searches
could be frustrating. If the FCC wants feedback, this might be a good
place to start.
