Wayll, I happened to call the Verizon weather line this morning, and the 
forecast was preceded by a message stating that effective June 1 they will be 
discontinuing their time and weather services.  So ends an era - "the phone 
company" has been doing that as long as I can remember, and that's... well, at 
least fifty years.
