I knew that talk groups were usually multiples of 16 but never knew why.
That was what made me flinch when I saw this talk group.  Checked the 396T
and the status bit was set to "on".  When I added the two talk groups from
last week they were silent, so I switched from ID scan to ID Search while I
was in the office today and let ARC 396Pro log the traffic all day.  That
was when I notice all the hits on this group and held it for a while to
listen more closely.

 

It sure is nice to have a group of people to show me how dumb I really am,
but in a nice way !!
