Tnx's Bill

So far I'm finding most of the store security stuff in the places near me
(south of Alex VA) in 450-470 range. Suspect it will turn out to all be in
the GMRS band.

There is No Band plan for retail.

They, just like any Business who needs radios works with their vendor and
decides.
a.) Simplex or b.) Repeater.

Then, what is available in the area for Frequencies.

I've seen VHF, UHF and UHF-T all used by various entities for Retail Ops.

FM, TRBO and some other various other formats are also implimented.

Your milage will vary and the best avenue is to SEARCH
150-162 and 450-470 and if your region allows 470-512 [T-Band]

Some are simplex, some Repeaters and some just plane Wacky. [ie Reversed
Repeater Pairs]
