I was clearing out the newspaper advertising yesterday evening, and I ran across an insert from Toys R Us that was probably from early December. A Sylvania 7" netbook that was not the one I saw in the store was being advertised. The one in the flyer had two SKU numbers, 789612 and 535563, and came in two colors, black and red. The one I saw in the store was white, so it was some other model. The one in the ad was originally $179.99, but it was half-off and going for $89.99. It has Wi-Fi abilities, three USB ports, and an SD card slot. It came with Windows CE 6.0 Pro Plus.
What you pay for a netbook at Toys R Us is a function of what day's advertising you see.
I could see where one of these things could come in really handy. If nothing else, it could keep track of files for a Pro-106.
Thanks to Gregg Danes for the tip.

[Scan-DC] Quest for a cheap digital scanner
"Thought I might pass this on to those out there. I know this may be somewhat off topic. I bought a 7 in china netbook awhile back and because it was so cheap (80.00) decided to play with it."

I was at Toys R Us yesterday evening and saw what I think he had in mind. It was a "Sylvania" netbook.
