[Scan-DC] [OT]: SD memory cards at RS

A site I have used for many years to find the best current online deals
on memory cards is www.dealram.com. They are presently showing the
following prices (including shipping) for SD/microSD cards:

1 GB $5 / $4
2 GB $6 / $5
4 GB $7 / $7
8 GB $13 / $12
16 GB $27 / $28
32 GB $54 / $60

The sweet spot in terms of GB/$ occurs at 8 GB, at least right now.

On a similar note, I was in Staples, several different 4-gig flash
drives on sale for $9.99 - seemed like a good price but I don't shop
them 'cuz I have a bunch that our students have lost and not claimed.

Now that I think of it though, I guess I should check prices on USB hard
drives...
