[Scan-DC] China Netbook

I was at Toys R Us yesterday evening and saw what I think he had in mind. It was a "Sylvania" netbook. I put "Sylvania" in quotes, because other than the name, I doubt it has the slightest connection to the company that published the Sylvania Receiving Tube Manual, which I bought new in 1975.

It cost $193.99, and it was a netbook with two USB ports on one side and a slot for an external card on the other. It was hinged at the back, with a screen on top and a keyboard in front.

There must be more than one Sylvania netbook. If you Google, you'll see one for $95 on Black Friday. Try this:

and click on "Sylvania G Meso Netbook with Intel®Atom™Processor - Pink"
http://www.toysrus.com/product/index.jsp?productId=4015454

Nothing seems to match the price of the one I saw. I'm certain it was $193.99.

These are the Chinese made 7" netbooks that sell all over the web and on e-bay for anywhere from $79 -- $100.
