[Scan-DC] ICC Frequencies

I hadn't been using that new loop of 370 for awhile but decided to take it yesterday; had no idea that that police facility was even there!  But I think I did see a couple of cruisers there... wasn't close enough to see antennas at that point but believe me, will be on the lookout!  I had been wondering who would police it and didn't recognize the colors and graphics on the cruisers I saw, but Google was my friend this morning, which was when I found that it would be the Transportation Authority Police... will scope things out as much as I can over the holidays and report back!

Looks as if they have UHF radios in the 450 MHz range at their other facilities... there is a post from Eric Carlson in the RadioReference forums wondering the same thing and also wondering if they might piggyback onto the Montgomery County trunked system... I would think that if something new is going in, that somebody would have stumbled on some test transmissions...
