I don't have any of those on at the time. The radio gets its power from a wall wart. I can try running it on cells to see if that changes things. I thought it was Russian radar or an angry Radio Tirana.

In my neck of the woods low frequency HF has been hard hit by the compact fluorescent bulbs. A computer or a compact fluorescent can ruin your listening day.
