This kind of explains why it was so difficult to make sense out of what I was hearing on scanner.    Make sure to read from bottom up, especially the part where the perp on fleeing on foot, doubles back and steals one of the persuring police's cars.   Then doubles back and gets back into the original carjacked vehicle

Carjacked car  -  high spd chase - shots fired -  think perp was shot in arm and chest -  heard call for wrecker for a police vehicle.

Currently Rt 50 closed  - not sure where
